The unique appearance of this Lembarta flooring is achieved by taking a heavily weathered, distressed old surface and skim planing. This reveals the deep red/brown colour and stunning markings. Subtle hints of a yellow paint tell tales of this woods locomotive past life, warm, dark and rich this provides rustic aesthetic and elegance to any setting. Keruing is incredibly hard wearing and tough, this Indonesian hardwood is often mistaken for mahogany. Our wide boards are less common and more desirable as this wood is normally seen in narrow strip form
